A Syariah Compliance Production.

HLRB Processing Sdn Bhd is a company that produces chicken and value-added products in a manner that adhere strictly to the halal standard outlined by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM). Our integrity and compliance to the halal standards are applied throughout every aspect starting from the receiving of raw material, processing, packaging, storage and up to the delivery of final products to customers.

Muslim Slaughter-man

All slaughtering are done manually and not by machines. Currently, HLRB Processing Sdn Bhd has 35 certified local Muslim Slaughter-men.

Clean and Sharp Knife

Chickens are slaughtered by using sharp knives. The slaughtering will be done in one stroke without lifting the knife.

Slaughter Alive

Islam prohibits Muslims from consuming any meat coming from an animal that is dead before being slaughtered. Our poultry is alive before slaughtering.

Bismillah Allahu Akbar

Bismillah Allahu Akbar will be mentioned at the time of slaughtering. (In the name of Allah; Allah is the Greatest)

Hasten and Lengthy Bleeding

We will keep the bleeding process for 5.23 minutes.

Halal Checker

Our Muslim Halal Checker will be present at the slaughter hall to ensure that the stunning operation, slaughtering and bleeding are all done in a halal manner. They will also determine that all chickens are dead prior to dressing operations. All non-compliance carcass will be properly handled and recorded.

WHILE INSIDE THE PRODUCTION PREMISES

HALAL FOOD & DRINK

Non-Halal food and drinks (including but not limited to pork/ bacon/ lard/ and alcohol) that do not comply with the Islamic law of Halal standard are not allowed to be brought into the premises.

NO PETS

Pets are not allowed inside the premises (birds, cats, dogs, etc).

UNDERSTAND HALAL

Every visitor, contractor and supplier must understand and obey the halal policy before entering the premises.

SUITABLE UNIFORM

All workers must follow the dressing / uniform etiquette and behave appropriately while inside the premises.

PERSONAL HYGIENE

All workers, especially those involved in the production must follow and observe personal hygiene.

NO TRANSMITTABLE DISEASE

Any worker, visitor, contractor and / or supplier who has chronic or transmittable disease is not encouraged to enter the premises. (must refer to the management beforehand)
